John Marboe is the pastor of a small, vibrant church in the Midway area of St. Paul, Zion Lutheran Church.
He's a proud dad of an amazing 17-year-old young woman, and married to an (also amazing) person he's known since high school. He loves philosophy, psychology and mythology, great books, and writing. He's a motorcycle enthusiast who loves tennis and golf, likes to cook, has been known to make okay beer, AND: from 2011 to 2018 worked as a trash hauler in this city. At first, he did it because he needed the work and money. Later it became an unusual form of "spiritual practice." If you are curious, here is his blog, Reverend Doctor Garbageman.
