Biography

Anna Lifson, LICSW (she/they) currently serves as the Women's Center Assistant Director in UMN's Office for Equity and Diversity, and engages students, staff/faculty, alums and community partners in intersectional gender equity work. Anna's past professional experience includes work as a therapist, case manager, educator, advocate, community organizer, volunteer coordinator, program director, and wedding officiant. Anna has also been a graduate research assistant and admissions ambassador at SSW, and served on CEHD's Alumni Society Board from 2017-2020. Anna welcomes your feedback, accountability, connection and collaboration as we collectively strive for justice, healing and liberation.

Anna enjoys swimming, cycling, learning acupressure points, jamming out to 80s/90s pop songs, reading novels & short stories, laughing at memes & puns, and snuggling with the world's bestest doggo.
