Katy Cobb, LISW, comes to the University of Minnesota with over a decade of experience in non-profits settings throughout the Twin Cities, primarily working in supervisory and managerial roles. Previous to working in non-profits they completed several terms of service through Americorps, focusing on disaster relief and response. Katy is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Master of Social Work program and obtained their bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
Katy is passionate about the connection between human relationships and all things macropractice: systems-level change, social justice, supervision & leadership, policy & advocacy, and much more. Katy is excited to apply this passion to students in practicum!
