SSW’s Dr. Jeff Waid Publishes New Work

School of Social Work faculty member Dr. Jeff Waid, and team, recently published two papers. The pieces relate to a family navigation preventive intervention Dr. Waid developed to promote health equity/prevent adverse childhood experiences.

Preliminary data are reported in the journal: “BMC Public Health,” now available (in full & online); and also here (via the journal of “Child & Family Social Work”).

The model described was implemented by students in the School of Social Work/Family Social Science programs. The co-authors are also students in these programs.
