SSW mourns the loss of Youth Studies community member
It is with profound sadness the School of Social work shares that Felicia Faust, a member of our Youth Studies community, has died. Felicia was a beloved student, family member and friend. She was known amongst instructors and peers for her honesty, poetic words and fierce advocacy. Felicia was committed to issues of racial justice, transracial adoption and of course, to her cats Phoebe and Pesto. She challenged us to make space. She made our community better. She will be missed!!
As we begin to process this loss, we will be hosting a virtual support session provided by the University of Minnesota’s Community Response Team on Monday, April 12 at 5pm. Please join with this link using your UMN Zoom account.
Felicia’s obituary and tentative service plans can be found here.
