LaLiberte awarded 2022 UConn alumni “Outstanding Social Worker”

SSW’s Dr. Traci LaLiberte, Executive Director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW), has been awarded 2022’s UConn School of Social Work Alumni “Outstanding Social Worker” award. This award honors alumni whose accomplishments, affiliations, and careers have made an outstanding impact and/or have been recognized within their field. Relevant to community/society in the present-day.

Dr. LaLiberte has served as Executive Director of CASCW since 2007. She oversees all of the professional education, outreach, and evaluation efforts of the Center as well as the newly launched MN Child Welfare Training Academy. In addition, she teaches at the SSW and leads other evaluation projects.

The UConn SSW Alumni Board will honor award recipients at an event in May, 2022.
