EVENT: SSW annual Arts and Social Work: Many Ways of Knowing

Monday, May 16, 2022 at 4:30 PM, St Paul Student Center

This year’s event will feature the renowned Minneapolis-based artist, activist, and public educator Ricardo Levins Morales (he/him). As stated in the artist’s bio: “He uses his art as a form of political medicine to support individual and collective healing from the injuries and ongoing reality of oppression.” This event, which is free to the public, is made possible with the generous support of the Dr. Helen Q. Kivnick and Dr. Gary M. Gardner Fund for the Arts and Social Work. 

  • 4:30-6:30 pm: Presentation and discussion will be held in-person at the St. Paul Student Center Theater, and live streamed on Zoom ( Zoom link will be emailed 24 hours before the event)
  • 6:30-8:00 pm: Reception with the artist will be held (in-person only) at the St. Paul Student Center Larson Gallery
  • Earn up to two Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for your participation in the presentation and discussion
