Biography

As Director of Professional Education in the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW), Kate manages the Title IV-E Child Welfare Program for MSW students including admissions, stipends, advising, and advanced curriculum. She also provides leadership for the statewide BSW Title IV-E Child Welfare Programs and the two certificate programs currently being offered by CASCW. Kate has years of experience at the School of Social Work in various positions within the MSW program including directing admissions, field coordination, and teaching in the field and social justice programs.
