Biography

Jill Stiber is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and has been awarded the national credential of Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work (BCD).

Prior to joining the SSW, she served on the faculties of the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work, the University of St Thomas and University of St. Catherine School of Social Work, and the University of Louisville, Kent School of Social Work.

Jill’s interests include: cognitive psychology, heuristics and decision-making, clinical assessment, evidence-based anxiety treatment, family therapy, group and organizational theory, supervision, management and leadership theory, and emerging research evidence in the study of the genetic and biological contributions to the development of psychopathology. She has presented numerous trainings and workshops on these topics to professional and lay community groups.

Jill has extensive clinical experience as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, program director, and executive coach. She maintains a private consulting practice.

She serves on the Clinical Mental Health Committee, the Admissions Committee and the Consultative Committee at the School of Social Work.
