Doctoral Student, Dongwook Kim, Wins Scholarship

School of Social Work PhD student, Dongwook Kim, has been chosen: one of two recipients of this year's Carl A. Scott Book Scholarship, awarded by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The announcement was made yesterday.

Says Kim: "Winning this scholarship further motivates" him to advance his manuscript project on the Race Identity Process Group.

Two $500 book scholarships are awarded by the CSWE each year to social work students who have demonstrated their "commitment to promoting equity, racial, economic, and environmental justice in their social work careers."

Congratulations to Dongwook!
