Biography
Joan has worked as a social worker since 1966, in a variety of public and private settings. She ended her direct service career in 2017, following 34 years as executive director of a non-profit agency. Her career has been primarily focused on child welfare.
Joan is single, lives in St. Paul, and has two sons and two grandchildren. She loves gardening, reading and traveling.
