      Ed believes that love wins. Outside of the School of Social Work, Ed wears many hats. Ed is a Curriculum Supervisor with Hennepin County Child Protection; a Certified Trainer and Consultant with Think:Kids at Massachusetts General Hospital; a social worker with Children's Minnesota; a Board Member with Foster Advocates; and provide training, clinical supervision and professional development through my LLC, Socorro Consulting. Ed is a transplant from Seattle, a mixed kid of Puerto Rican and German heritage, and a transracially adoptive parent. When not working, Ed loves to explore hard-to-get-to places as a scuba diver and pilot. Ed lives in North Minneapolis with a daughter and cat.
