Abdi and Houghton Recognized by the College

Assistant Professor Dr. Saida Abdi, and Suite 105 student employee, Tessa Houghton were recently honored with awards at the 2024 CEHD Spring Assembly and Recognition Ceremony. 

Abdi received the New Career Excellence Award. This honor recognizes new CEHD professionals who have demonstrated outstanding and innovative academic work and show great promise in terms of future contributions to the college and the field.

Houghton received the Outstanding Student Employee Award. The purpose of this award is to recognize undergraduate and graduate students for exceptional service contributions to the CEHD, the University community, and the surrounding community.

The Spring Assembly and Recognition Ceremony took place Thursday, April 25, at McNamara Alumni Center.
