Center for Practice Transformation Welcomes Emily Gus as New Research Coordinator
Emily Gus (she/her) has joined the School of Social Work’s Center for Practice Transformation (CPT) as a research coordinator. Emily earned her MPH (in community health promotion) from the University of Minnesota. Before joining the CPT team, Emily partnered with communities — to address health disparities around sexual and reproductive health issues through education and health access.
Emily’s work has spanned one-on-one education sessions, to community-based policy change, to
nationally-funded research. In her career, Emily remains committed to elevating
community members’ voices and experiences, evaluating the effectiveness of programming,
and creating meaningful connections.
Emily is excited to be back in the Twin Cities (from Philadelphia), working with the CPT, supporting the mission to provide behavioral health practitioners with the tools they need. Outside of work, Emily enjoys hiking, watching women’s rugby, camping, and traveling.
Welcome, Emily!
