GRADUATION

On May 9, 2024, the School of Social Work will honor its 2023-2024 graduates in Youth Studies, Youth Development Leadership, Master of Social Work, and PhD in Social Work. Graduates from all SSW programs will be able to cross the stage and be recognized.

CEHD COMMENCEMENT
Students are also invited to attend CEHD’s general commencement on May 10, 2024. Information can be found here.

Graduating students must RSVP to attend commencement. The deadline to RSVP has now passed; if you would still like to RSVP, please contact sswadvise@umn.edu as soon as possible.

SSW Graduation Celebration

Program begins 4:30 P.M.
Doors at 3 P.M. — Grads asked to arrive by 3:30 P.M.

GUEST and TICKETING INFORMATION
Due to capacity restrictions, the SSW Celebration requires tickets. Graduating students were each given six guest tickets for pickup in 105 Peters Hall, with the opportunity to request more tickets. Please contact sswadvise@umn.edu with questions.

REGALIA
Although most students usually do, you are not required to wear regalia at our SSW ceremony. Order your regalia through the UMN Bookstore. Be sure to order the appropriate regalia for your degree (Bachelor vs. Master).

PARKING and DIRECTIONS
Parking is available for a fee ($10 for events) at the University's 19th Ave and 21st Ave Parking Ramps. More information can be found on Ted Mann's website here.

STUDENT and GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS
Students should use this form if you or a guest requires accommodations by April 25, 2024. The venue asks that you submit your accommodations at least two weeks in advance and cannot guarantee accommodations within one week of the event.
