Leah Strom, MSW, LISW earned her BSW from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and her MSW from the University of Minnesota. She coordinates the Phoenix Learning Xchange (PLX) program for the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare. PLX aims to broaden the knowledge for professionals working with youth and adolescents involved in child welfare and other systems. 

Leah has been a social worker for over 20 years and has worked in the areas of child protection, adoption, foster care, non profit management, social work supervision and social work practicum education.
