School of Social Work

Fall semester welcomes new roles within SSW

Nora Lee (she/her) will be transferring from her position within the School of Social Work’s Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW) after ten years of integral support to the Centers operations. Nora managed all facility-related aspects of CASCW, and the MinnLInK lab within SSW. She provided extensive event planning for CASCW’s conferences, policy forums and other events. Nora was also an integral support for Title IV-E MSW students, supporting their records and stipend payments, experiential learning events, and job search coaching. We are happy that Nora will continue to be a vital part of our SSW community in her new role as Administrative Operations Professional with the Minnesota Child Welfare Training Academy.

Laura Rosenberg

Laura Rosenberg (she/her) is joining the SSW this fall as our new Graduate Program Coordinator. Her appointment will begin on September 13, 2021. Laura is currently an Academic Advisor in the University of Minnesota’s College of Biological Sciences. Prior to that, she served as the Resident Director for the Alpha and Xavier Residential Learning Communities at the Santa Clara University Office of Residence Life.
