MSW Title IV-E Scholars Have Experiential Learning Opportunity

This update is courtesy our Center for the Advanced Study of Child Welfare (CASCW).

A core component of CASCW's professional education involves facilitating experiential learning opportunities for our MSW Title IV-E scholars. With the partnership of faculty and community members, these experiences take our students across the Twin Cities to learn more about how child welfare intersects with bias, trauma, disparities, and resilience within communities.

Earlier this month, our Title IV-E cohort visited several significant locations to gain further insight on African American history within our community, including Rondo Commemorative Plaza, and George Floyd Square. The group engaged in a meaningful day of discussion, learning, and connection, and we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the many generous community members and University colleagues that shared their time and wisdom.
